The Four Core Learning Workstreams
Your child's Islamic education is not one vague period a week. It is built into four monitored workstreams, each designed for real, functional understanding, not rote memorisation.
1. Quranic Studies
Tajweed & Hifz
Your child learns to respect, pronounce, and carry the Book of Allah correctly. Sound comes before speed.
- Makharij: correct mouth and tongue placement for every Arabic letter, taught from Pre-School.
- Tajweed rules: Ghunnah, Qalqalah, and the Madd rules of elongation as your child reaches primary level.
- Individual Hifz tracking: every child carries a personal memorisation log, paced to their natural capacity.
2. Classical Arabic
Language Literacy
Arabic is treated as a living language of scholarship, not a frozen script copied without meaning.
- Orthography and writing: fine penmanship through classical script tracing.
- Vocabulary: daily nouns, verbs, and sentence patterns your child can actually use.
- Grammar (Nahw & Sarf): senior pupils learn to read classical Islamic texts on their own.
3. Seerah, Fiqh & History
Faith Made Practical
Faith becomes real when your child knows where it comes from and how to live it.
- Seerah: leadership and moral models from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), applied to real situations.
- Fiqh: the clear, correct steps of Wudu and Salah, taught until they become second nature.
- Islamic history: the scientific and moral achievements of Islamic civilisation, building deep self-worth.
4. Character & Adab
Tarbiyah & Etiquette
Knowledge without character is incomplete. This is where our motto lives every day.
- Islamic etiquette: the daily sunnahs of eating, greeting elders, and treating friends with kindness.
- Social responsibility: respect for parents, cleanliness, care for the environment, and the values of the Tamale community.
Curriculum Progression, Level by Level
Every stage builds on the last, matched to what your child is ready for.
Ages 2-5
Pre-School
Focus: oral recognition, play-based tracing, and spiritual curiosity.
- Tracing single Arabic letters
- Memorising Surah Al-Fatiha through Surah Al-Fil
- Daily duas for waking, eating, and entering spaces
- Clean, orderly behavioural routines
Basic 1-6
Primary School
Focus: independent reading, structured Tajweed, and the fundamentals of worship.
- Moving from the Qaida to reading the Mushaf directly
- Retaining the last half of Juz Amma
- Formal rules of Wudu and Salah
- Beginner Arabic reading and sentence building
Basic 7-9
Junior High School
Focus: critical comprehension, contextual analysis, and leadership.
- Tafseer insights and Quranic commentary
- Memorisation targets up to Juz Tabarak
- Structural study of prophetic character
- Command of basic Arabic syntax for advanced study

The Daily Deen Diary
A small notebook goes home with your child every afternoon. It tracks the day's Quran memorisation milestone, prayer attendance, and behaviour marks. You review and sign it every night, so you always know exactly where your child stands.
Termly PTA Progress Reviews
We sit with you, one on one, every term. We discuss not only the STEM and English report cards, but your child's moral growth and spiritual confidence, so nothing important is left unseen.
